A Very Merry Christmas

This year, we kicked off the holiday season with a trip to see Santa at our neighborhood rec center. Once again, Alyssa was not a fan of the jolly old man so Mommy had to get in the picture and hold her as far away from him as I could. Got a cute pic though.

 

 I forgot to take pictures of our tree decorating session this year but here are a few cute ones in front of the finished product.

 

Since we were traveling for Christmas, we needed to give Alyssa her big gift, a play kitchen, before we left. Therefore, all of the kids opened a present before we left. Alyssa loved the kitchen so much and plays with it all day. Izzy loved getting another toy story character, Lotso, and Amelia was thrilled by some giraffe pajamas.

Finally, we were on our way to GA to celebrate the holiday with family and visit friends. We were sad that the trip was not long enough to see everyone but we were thankful to see those we could. Here are the girls with our former neighbors who they miss so much. Love all these girls.

We headed to Aunt Cheryl's house for Christmas Eve and had fun opening presents and spending time with the McCart family and Grammy!

Then we headed back to Nana and Grampa's house to put out the cookies for Santa, get ready his arrival and have some fun with cousins.

Finally, Christmas morning arrived and the girls could not have been more excited. We all received wonderful gifts from family and Santa, laughed a lot, and savored every minute with our family.

A wonderful Christmas but so hard to say goodbye! Can't wait to get back again soon and have more time to spend with family and friends. Happy New Year everyone!!
