So with the family celebration over, Doug and I left the girls in very capable hands and flew out of town to the beautiful island of St. John in the Virgin Islands. It was a fabulous trip filled with beautiful views, fun boat rides, great snorkeling, good food and wine and lots of relaxation! Here are some pics from our trip.

Stopped at Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands for a drink and later for lunch. Only 200 people live on this island but it has a couple of world famous bars. Here we are posing with a "statue" of Foxy who still performs at Foxy's Bar!
This is Sandy Cay which is the most perfect island beach in the world in my opinion. It is tiny but has the most beautiful sand and water surrounding it. This is where the old Corona commercials were filmed. We snorkeled around it before exploring it which took about 5 minutes.
Pulling into another part of Jost Van Dyke to have lunch at The Soggy Dollar Bar. No dock to pull up to. You just swim ashore.
On Sunday, we rented a car and drove around the island. Here are a few pictures of the beautiful views.
Thank you to Mom and Dad and Cheryl for taking such great care of our girls so that we could have this time together to celebrate Doug's birthday. It was a wonderful trip but we were pretty excited to get home to these 3 beauties!
