1st Day of 1st Grade

Thursday was the girls' first day of first grade. They were both so excited to start school. On Tuesday, we went to meet their teachers at the Open House. Isabel's teacher, Mrs. Bevis, was very nice and Izzy was excited to have a desk next to two boys from her Kindergarten class. Amelia's teacher, Mrs. Evans, was also super nice and Amelia was thrilled to be in class with one of her closest friends along with several others that she knew. Thursday morning came quickly and they were ready! No tears from them or Mom this year so that was a big improvement over last year. They both came home with big smiles and said that the first day was "AWESOME"! I think that they are going to have a great year.
