On Friday, March 30th, we got the girls out of school early and headed for Seacrest Beach, FL. It was a decent ride but the big girls were anxious and Alyssa does not love her car seat. Add to that, the intense rain that we hit and it made for a long day. We arrived late and were thrilled to have Nana and Grampa greet us. We explored our house, unpacked and crashed. Poor Mike and Cheryl were still on the road thanks to the weather and some traffic problems. They arrived after we all went to bed but we were just happy they arrived safe and sound.
Over the week, we spent time at the beach and the pool, we rode bikes, we ate too many donuts and too much ice cream, we enjoyed delicious dinners (thanks Dad!) and had fun with our family. There were lots of laughs and great memories were made. Here are some pictures from our great trip. Can't wait til next year!
