Baby Update - 28 Weeks

This week we decided to do a 3D Ultrasound to get a look at our growing baby and to confirm the gender, a little late since her room is already pink! We took the girls with us so that they could be part of the fun. When we arrived, the girls were fascinated with the man that was going to perform the ultrasound as he looked like Santa Claus. Izzy told him this and he proceeded to tell us that he is a professional Santa Claus during the holiday season. He even showed the girls pictures of himself all decked out in his Santa outfit. Very convincing!
Once the ultrasound started, the girls become very entertained by the toys that were available for them to play with in the room and had very little interest in seeing the baby. Santa was able to confirm that she is in fact a she, after which I let out a huge sigh of relief. Then we focused on checking her out but she was not cooperating. She was very camera shy and kept covering her face with her hands, arms and even her feet! Then she just started turning away from the camera completely. It was quite humorous. We did manage to get a few peeks at her and it was awesome! Can't wait to see her for real in just over 2 months!
