Happy Easter!

On Easter morning, the girls woke up at their usual 6:30 and played ballerina (hence the tutus in the pictures) in their rooms before venturing out into the hallway just before 7:00. Then they started screaming for us that the Easter Bunny had left a trail of jellybeans leading down the hall to their baskets in the baby's room. They loved this! You can see that the baby's room walls are done but still no furniture so it was a great place to pull out all the treats.
They got so many great things in their baskets including candy, books, coloring books, markers, movies, beach towels and jewelry.





Later in the morning, we got dressed up in our new dresses and posed for some pictures. Luckily, they cooperated and we got some cute shots. I cannot believe how old they look!



Then we went to Aunt Cheryl's house for lunch. These adorable pink and purple bunny ice cream cakes were fun to look at and super yummy to eat! Then we went outside to get some family pictures. The girls were less enthusiastic about having their pictures taken this time around but we still managed to get a few good pictures.
We had a wonderful Easter! I was grateful to have such a perfect day with my two bunnies. However, throughout the day, I kept thinking about how exciting next Easter will be with our new little bunny in the mix. Can't wait!
